 Bigger and bigger speeds determine  today's life. The raving shutdown becomes the misfortune. The picture flood of the modern age to the flood. Real time hysteria. Danger of the brain region in all nets. Irony: No time becomes the slogan. The time tact of the assembly line is removed by electronic transference speeds. The stock market second decides on profit and loss. The overstrain of biological capacity borders becomes the risk. What races is pulse of the time.

 

The space society becomes the time society. The second becomes a time measure of our action. What counts is speed. Processes are accelerated steadily. There comes the quantum time.

 

Since beginning of the eighties Bu continuously tries to form experience, emotions and reflections creatively with his art like pictures, texts, composition ideas and actions. Besides, the aspect of  time has special value.The  first works were painted in unique methode in pastel and Gouache.

 

In every picture painting space and painting time are defined clearly and covered directly on each other.

 

After different attempts with styles of the past especially of the modern age Bu invented at first the second picture in the tradition of the concrete art, the tachism and the informel. The different time philosophy and her reflection by the artist determines his draft.

 

 The second as a time measure of physics , 1/1000 seconds for the exposure of the photo, 24 pictures / seconds for the film projection and now as an ironic comment the second picture as an abstract-concrete citation of modern picture worlds.One second between intent and action.  Reversal of the painting as a space art to a time art and border of the border crossing at the moment of the creating act.

 

Colour and size of the pictures are variable as desired. Thus only form and time of the pictures remain fixed.

 

The painting of the pictures  are to be understood as a spatially clotted moment of a spontaneous artistic impulse and the form will of the artist. The picture is a picturesque moment reflection and style of the period life of the subjective sensitivities of the artist. The picture is the form become present of the artist at the respective moment of the creating act and his protest of every time studies and their dictation of human activities. The creating act in one or a few  seconds is a component of an in the abstract figure-like writing of instantaneous intuitions and inspirations.

 

 As a sign system the pictures are a proof of a clearly mature style.

 

The creating act in one or few seconds underlines the creative potential being inherent in every person. The very easy invites to experiment and play.

 

His theory of DROMOGRAPHICS forms the basis of the second and tempo pictures of Bu.

 

The second pictures are a component of an in the abstract like figure writing of instantaneous intuitions and inspirations. The stop clock is an expression of the economizing of the art. The metronome points to the tone and the musical chord as an other time measure of the picture production. Stop clock and metronome are ironic attributes of the creative process. The dromograph as a measuring equipment of the blood speed becomes a test authority for impulse and pulse of the artist and his criticism of too big devoutness  to science.

 

 

The temporal limitation of the painting process or art process is essential for Bu's art, so that every picture forms spatial-time-like a clearly defined unity. The amount of the information is same in each case to which contents of the information vary. It is about the sublime of the visualizations of the respective presents of the artist's creating as well as her serial variability.

In contrast to production stands the duration of the adoption. The picture as a moment product of the respective artist's presence invites for staying and leisure. Thus time is expanded in the picture. If requested the screen becomes the canvas substitute.



The picture as a time sign and pictogram is a criticism of the economizing of the arts and its affirmative character. The stop clock is an expression of the economizing of art. The  time picture is sign of the crossing in an information society and knowledge society. The time drafts (second picture, chord picture, tempo picture, symphony picture ...) underline the process-like of the painting act. The picture becomes an endless moment. The spontaneity of the creating at the moment of one second as a last-possible truth of the expression. (P.R)

The colours of the abstract-concrete pictures are formed by your wishes. The color of the background and the forms are freely eligible.

 

The pictures are in different formats (e.g., German Institute for Standardization A2-DIN A0) on different materials (e.g. paper, watercolour paper, hand-made paper or canvas) to too different prices available.
